Compensation disclosedUSC may earn money from ads and product relationships.
Placement may varyCompensation can affect which products appear and where.
Methodology requiredRankings and best claims need transparent criteria.

1. How USC is supported

USC is an advertising-supported publisher and marketplace. We may receive compensation when a visitor views or clicks an advertisement, submits a product request, is matched with a provider, opens or funds an account, or completes another qualifying action.

2. How compensation may affect placement

Compensation may affect whether and where a product appears, how prominently it is displayed and which offers are available. USC does not include every provider or product in the market.

3. Editorial and data separation

Editorial explanations, public benchmark data, calculator formulas and consumer-rights information should not change merely because a company pays USC. Sponsored placements must be labeled, and independent benchmarks should remain visually distinct from product offers.

4. Rankings and “best” claims

USC should not describe a product as “best” or assign a proprietary score without a published methodology. Where USC presents a comparison, the page should identify the factors considered and whether the set is limited to participating advertisers.

5. Provider responsibility

USC is not a lender, bank or card issuer. Product providers determine eligibility, rates, fees, approval and final terms. Visitors should review the provider’s disclosures before accepting a product.
