1. Current experience

The UnitedStatesCredit Credit Cards hub currently provides general educational content, calculators and links to related USC guides. It does not collect a Social Security number, obtain a consumer report, determine eligibility or provide a credit-card approval.

2. Privacy and data

General browsing, search, calculator and advertising practices are described in the Privacy Policy and Cookies & Advertising notice. Do not enter a Social Security number, card number, bank-account information or other sensitive data into site search, calculators or general contact messages.

If USC offers a secure personalized matching service in the future, the specific authorization, partner disclosure and data-use notice will be displayed before the relevant information is collected.

3. Card applications

Card terms, approval decisions and applications are controlled by the applicable issuer. Applying for a card may involve a hard credit inquiry. Review the issuer's application, rates, fees and disclosures before submitting it.

4. Advertising and compensation

UnitedStatesCredit may earn compensation from advertisers or financial-product providers. Compensation may affect which products appear and where they are placed, but it does not change the need for accurate disclosures or the methodology applied to any comparison. See the Advertiser Disclosure.
